This registry is intended to inform the public about the widespread use of the Policy Governance® model as designed by John Carver.  Entries in this registry indicate that the organization is somewhere on the path of practicing Policy Governance.  The entry is not a guarantee that the organization has perfect practice of the model.  Annual attempts will be made by IPGA to assure that those listed in this registry are continuing their journey of good governance with the use of the Policy Governance model.
